Today we are thrilled to launch MongoPie, a native MongoDB client for iPhone and iPad. Databases have long been tethered to the desktop, and the few mobile tools that exist tend to feel like afterthoughts — cramped, slow, and hostile to the way modern iOS apps are supposed to feel. MongoPie is our answer.
We started building MongoPie because we needed it ourselves. Running a quick query from a meeting, inspecting a production document while away from a laptop, tweaking a record during an on-call rotation — these moments should take seconds, not a scramble for a terminal. MongoPie brings the full weight of MongoDB to the device you already carry everywhere.
